Smallest to largest municipalities on PEI what do they do?

The most recent Statistics Canada census (2021) shows the three smallest municipality on PEI to be:

  • Rural Municipality of Tignish Shore with a population of 64 
  • Rural Municipality of St. Louis with a population of 69
  • Rural Municipality of Darlington with a population of 99

Population under 500Currently, there are 59 municipal governments on PEI with 35 Municipalities having a population of  fewer than 500 people.
